During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery because it has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients elect to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the Coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person to person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you feel unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow and immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath, and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs: wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, and clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
We hope each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & the staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Issues that Abdominoplasty can fix

Shedding troublesome tummy fat can be incredibly frustrating and stressful for both men and women. A belly pooch can become prominent for several reasons, including natural aging. If you follow a proper diet and exercise routine and still cannot shed stubborn stomach fat, an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) can be an incredibly effective method for achieving a smooth, contoured abdomen. Dr. Patrick Obasi and the team at Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, near Dallas, Texas, would love to welcome you in for a consultation to find out if a tummy tuck is right for you.

Abdominoplasty in Dallas Area

More than 130,000 abdominoplasties are performed annually, and it has become one of the most popular cosmetic surgical procedures sought each year. It is important to note that timing is everything when it comes to cosmetic surgery. To know beforehand if you are ready for a tummy tuck, it is best to do some self-education on your own prior to seeing a doctor. Here are a couple of reasons why many men and women seek out this procedure.

Tightens muscles

A tummy tuck can be a viable treatment for underlying abdominal muscles that have become stretched or damaged. This can often happen to women who have just gone through pregnancy. While these muscles are able to self-repair, women can suffer from a condition called diastasis, where the abdominal muscles start spreading apart. If you lay flat with your legs raised and you see a bulge appear in your stomach, you could be suffering from this condition. These muscles are brought back together during abdominoplasty and made tight and firm for a flatter, desirable midsection.

Tightens loose skin

If you have had weight fluctuations or are a woman who has gone through pregnancy, chances are the skin of your abdomen has lost its elasticity. Skin tightening is a major reason why many patients choose to undergo an abdominoplasty. This procedure will eliminate the appearance of mild to severe loosened skin, and your abdomen will be flat and contoured.
