During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, because providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients are electing to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities that are used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow, and then immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs-(wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces).
We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & his staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Patients in Plano, TX Learn More About the Types of Implants for Breast Augmentation

Implants for Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation has quickly become one of the most sought after cosmetic surgeries. Firmer, fuller breasts round out a woman’s appearance making her more comfortable in her own skin. Dr. Patrick Obasi of Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, TX offers different types of breast implant surgeries based upon a woman’s desired look and outcome.

No two women have the same body. Because of this uniqueness, cosmetic surgery procedures should be tailored to the patient. This allows the individual to have a more natural, appropriate look for her body type.

MORE IMPLANT STYLES AND MATERIALS FOR PATIENTS’ DESIRED OUTCOMES

Breast implants have evolved over the years. There are now different materials, styles, shapes and sizes. Patients can choose from saline, silicone and gummy bear implants. They can decide if they want a rounder look or a teardrop profile. Smooth and textured implants are available as well. During your consultation with Dr. Obasi, the two of you will decide which style and shape is best suited for your body type.

  • Saline – Saline is a commonly chosen implant type. Saline implants are filled after they have been placed in the breast cavity. While safe and common, rippling is a possibility and is more visible in larger breasts.
  • Silicone – Silicone implants are sometimes known as gel implants because they are filled with a silicone gel. These implants feel firmer but are still soft and natural.
  • Gummy bear – Gummy bear implants are quickly becoming popular. Gummy bear implants maintain the natural look and feel of silicone implants. However, this product is slightly firmer and will not deflate even if the outer shell ruptures.

Dr. Obasi will help you choose the right style and profile to give you a beautiful new shape. Call Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano 214 - 617-1672.
