A rich store of PRP\u2014up to 15 times a normal concentration\u2014is then created when this sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate components. Dr. Obasi then reintroduces harvested PRP into your problem areas or uses a micro-needling technique to treat more significant portions of the skin. The procedure takes about 20 minutes. Risks are minimal with this type of procedure, and you\u2019ll be able to resume your normal activities almost immediately.
