WHAT IS CAPSULAR CONTRACTURE?<\/h2>\n

A breast implant is a foreign object. Each body responds differently to having a foreign object present. After the implant is placed, scar tissue forms a capsule around it. In some instances, this capsule may tighten or contract. How much or how little tightening occurs is unpredictable. It varies from patient to patient, and may not happen at all. It may occur in one or both breasts. If contracting does happen, it can cause the following problems.<\/p>\n
