During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery because it has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients elect to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the Coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person to person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you feel unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow and immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath, and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs: wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, and clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
We hope each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Laser Hair Removal at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Men and women dealing with unwanted hair can become frustrated with constant removal and treatment, including continued waxing, shaving, plucking, and depilatory creams. Instead, the Noble Cosmetic Surgery team encourages patients in Plano, Texas, and beyond to ask Dr. Patrick C. Obasi about the advantages of using laser hair removal treatment. Laser hair removal eliminates unwanted hair over time by damaging hair follicles and achieving permanent results!

Laser Hair Removal near Plano TX

Recover With Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal offered by Dr. Obasi is the ultimate in hair removal treatments. All unwanted body hair will be removed from any skin type. You should expect the complete removal of any targeted hair with any future growth permanently limited, and it will be finer than before the treatment.

Patients can expect to spend up to an hour in the treatment room, depending on the size of the area being addressed. Legs and back may require more time than areas such as the underarms or face. The treated area is cleansed, and patients are relaxed in the treatment chair or on our treatment table. A topical anesthetic is applied to ensure comfort before administering the laser light. Most patients describe the sensation of the laser light as snapping on the skin, but many find the treatment to be well-tolerated. Mild discomfort may occur over the next few weeks and often involves slight redness and swelling that will naturally subside. Patients do not need to take time off work or other activities to have their procedures performed.

Results With Laser Hair Removal

Results with laser hair removal are permanent. All unwanted hair will be removed with future hair growth in targeted areas inhibited. This results in finer hair and less hair as it regrows. Touch-up treatments once or twice a year will be required for best results. Many patients love the time and energy they save treating this hair every day with alternative removal methods and find that this investment in laser hair removal is an investment in themselves and their renewed self-confidence.

Laser Hair Removal Q & A

Patients who consider the advantages of laser hair removal at Noble Cosmetic Surgery are often in need of a permanent way to treat unwanted hair. Patients with hair anywhere on the face or body can have it reduced and even eliminated using our high-end technology at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, including our Enlighten III laser device.

The Enlighten III laser device used by Dr. Patrick C. Obasi is adjustable to ensure that the correct amount of laser light is used to achieve results. This depends significantly on the pigmentation of the patient’s skin, the color of the hair being removed, and the sensitivity of the patient. The laser light is administered into the treatment area and permanently damages hair follicles. Patients can expect up to nine treatment sessions to treat all unwanted hair in the appropriate growth phase for optimum results.
