During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery because it has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients elect to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the Coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person to person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you feel unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow and immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath, and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs: wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, and clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
We hope each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & the staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic Surgery for Men: The Rising Trend and Types of Cosmetic Surgery Offered for Men in Plano, TX

In the early days of cosmetic surgery, it was considered something more tailored towards women. As the years have passed, this has become less of a reality as more men begin turning toward the many cosmetic surgery options available to them. This trend continues to pick up steam as time passes. And why shouldn’t it? After all, men care about self-image just as women do and deserve the wonderful results provided by cosmetic surgery.

Types of Cosmetic Surgery for Men at Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano Area

Dr. Patrick Obasi and the team at Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, TX, are providing cosmetic surgery options to men looking to look and feel their best. There are many types of cosmetic surgery available so if you have ever found yourself wondering “I wonder if there is an office offering cosmetic surgery near me”, wonder no longer. Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, TX, is waiting to hear from you.

A Change in Trend

The trend that has occurred over the years of more men seeking plastic surgery should not come as a surprise. While less discussed in the open, men experience body image issues just as women do. A male who was made fun of throughout his school years is ready to head off to college and wants to start a new chapter by receiving male breast reduction surgery and liposuction. A man who has experienced a lifetime of insecurities due to the size and shape of his nose decides a rhinoplasty will make him accept his self-image. There are stories like this all over where men are looking for that boost in self-confidence through cosmetic surgery. Men are talking about it more openly, and this is making it more acceptable to a group who, in the past, viewed this form of surgery as something only for women or the incredibly rich and vain. That is no longer true.

Types of Cosmetic Surgery

There are so many options available to men looking for cosmetic surgery based on desire and need. Let us take a look at some common cosmetic surgery options that men are choosing.

Gynecomastia – For men who have developed enlarged breasts, the gynecomastia procedure will result in excess skin and fat being removed from the chest for a flat, attractive appearance. Even the nipples can be repositioned as desired.

Chin Implants – A chin augmentation is a great choice for men looking to have their chin reshaped or enhanced. Whether you are looking for a chin that is wider, longer, or bigger, a chin implant will result in a chin that better compliments the face.

Dermabrasion – For those men who are looking to minimize wrinkles or scars or looking to eliminate moles or freckles, dermabrasion results in a clearer, smoother face. A dermabrasion procedure can be used in conjunction with treatments such as a chemical peel.

Rhinoplasty – For men who are unhappy with the appearance of their nose, a rhinoplasty will allow for the nose to be reshaped or resized and is one of the most popular surgeries offered to both men and women alike.

Men Love Cosmetic Surgery

We no longer live in a world where all a man needs is a razor, shaving cream, and a bar of soap. Today’s man frequents places like spas, go out for manicures and pedicures, receiving waxing, get laser hair removal and yes, elect for cosmetic surgery. One major reason for the increase in men receiving cosmetic surgery is that stigmas of the past have been removed. In the past, if a woman were to get plastic surgery, not even they would talk about it. Now imagine if you were a man back then.

In our current society, cosmetic surgery is widely talked about, and there are even television shows centered around individuals, both men and women, getting work done. In a world that has become obsessed with the selfie and social media, personal appearance has never been more highly valued. If you are a man looking to enhance your appearance or just want to make a change for the sake of your self-confidence, all you need to do is look up Dr. Patrick Obasi and the team at Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, TX. To schedule a consultation or appointment, please call 214 - 617-1672.
